Bristol is a truly unique waterfront town with fifteen miles of shoreline and breathtaking views from just about everywhere. Barrington is located nine miles southeast of Providence. The town is bounded by East Providence on the north and west, by the state of Massachusetts on the northeast, by the Warren River on the east, and by Narragansett Bay on the west and south. No point in Barrington is more than two miles from salt water. Over its three-hundred-plus-year history, Barrington has evolved from an agricultural community to a manufacturing town to its present identification as a commuter suburb with extensive residential neighborhoods. The town's rich history and character is evident throughout this beautiful, oceanside community. Recreational boating activities contribute greatly to quality of life in Barrington. The town boasts numerous marinas and public parks, a part of the East Bay Bike Path, and is home to the Rhode Island Country Club. | ||||||

Rehoboth is located in southeastern Massachusetts, bordered by Seekonk on the west, Attleboro and Norton on the north, Taunton and Dighton on the east, and Swansea on the southeast and south. The town is about 9 miles east of Taunton, 13 miles north of Fall River, 42 miles south of Boston, and 10 miles east of Providence, Rhode Island. Like many New England towns, Rehoboth has a long history. Its first settlement took place in 1652 and the town was incorporated in 1745. Rehoboth retains dozens of Colonial and Federal homes and there are many historic houses and buildings preserved throughout the community. Today, Rehoboth's rural character and scenic open spaces make it an attractive community for residents who enjoy the town's tranquil nature. Instead of commercial areas and malls, Rehoboth is home to bountiful woodlands, horse farms, and winding country roads. | ||||||
